January is the longest month and then even with an extra day this year, February flew. I had high hopes for publishing content here, but our nanny was unexpectedly out for a week and I wasn’t able to produce the content I’d hoped. I still have some coming down the pipeline, just will be a little later. Hopefully this month?! We’ll see. March will be fun though!!

Here’s some of the things I have been loving lately. Everything is linked in the collage except the playdough and the gold button cardigan.. They are however all hyper-linked in the paragraphs below the pictures. Enjoy!

Hello, World!

  1. Mouth Tape. I had heard about the benefits of this for years, but just hadn’t started doing it. I started it January 2024 and really like it! I do think it helps me acheive better sleep and makes my jaw a bit more defined. I know they make special mouth stickers, but I just use latex-free surgical tape and tap my mouth shut. It’s only $7 and lasted me about 2 months before I had to purchase another roll. I keep it in my nightstand with a pair of scissors, for east access.

  2. Subset Underwear. (c/o) I have shared Subset before, but it was under the name Knickey. They are my favorite organic cotton underwear!! They are 95% cotton and 5% elastane for stretch. I’ve tried 100% organic cotton styles and I just do not like them as much. They typically offer 2XXS - 3XL and have tons of styles from granny panty, to thong. Oh, and menswear too!

  3. Feltman Brothers Easter Pointelle for girls and boys! (c/o) I’ve been purchasing Feltman Brothers sets for the twins since they were less than 3 months old. It is timeless and a true legacy piece. Just when I thought they couldn’t get cuter, they released these spring shorts sets and I’m in LOVE. Darling.

  4. Renee Rouleau Detox Cleanser. I have been slowly trying out new-to-me Renee Rouleau products and this is one of my current favorites. It’s part of their acne / detox line and has bacteria / acne fighting ingredients, yet is also gentle. When I have the time, I leave it on for about 5 minutes for extra defense.

  5. Young and Wild and Friedman Playdough. I purchased this for Valentine’s Day and have since purchased one for Saint Patrick’s Day and Easter. The twins LOVE them and ask to play with them over watching TV. These are great for holiday goodies, but also make easy and practical birthday gifts.

  6. Red Lightbulbs. I’m trying to make our bedroom more conducive for sleep, so I changed out our bedside sconces to have red light bulbs instead white light ones. Red light stimulates melatonin, making it not only easier to go to sleep, but can help you get better sleep.

  7. Graypants Wick. (c/o) My living room doesn’t have a lot of light / light fixtures for that matter, so when I saw the Wick I knew I had to have it. It’s functional, yet also dreamy and of heirloom quality. I love that it is a throwback and modern at the same time.

  8. Sezane Tyler Trousers in Floral Border. I RAN when Sezane dropped these. I love a good statement pant that can be worn with so many things and this was it for me. I can wear it with an oversized sweater or a form fitting blouse. The shoe and accessory combinations are endless too. I wear a size 6 in these. Not there’s not really any stretch, so order the size for the widest part of you. They are mostly sold out of the pants, but they still have some other silhouettes in the same pattern available.

  9. Mott and Bow Twill Chino Charles Pants. (c/o) Nick has been wearing Mott and Bow for about 4 years now and they are consistenyl his favorite pants. He has denim, jeans, and most recently added in these chinos. They are comfortable and offer an elevated, yet relaxed look to any wardrobe.

  10. Misook Slip Stitch Button-Front Recycled Knit Jacket. (c/o) I shared this sweater the other day here, but wanted to mention it, since we are in β€œgrab a light jacket” season. It can easily dress up items or dress down looks too.
